About
The TeamARIN website is maintained as a public service by ARIN, the American Registry for Internet Numbers, to educate consumers, businesses, and governments on issues facing the Internet community and to provide easy-to-use tools to empower people to take action immediately.
This site is to keep you updated on the outreach and educational activities we’re doing in our region to spread the word about ARIN’s community-supported policy process, the status of IPv4 address space and the ongoing IPv6 deployment, and any other issues that come up along the way.
All the formal stuff related to ARIN – requesting resources, discussing policies and policy proposals, submitting operational suggestions, etc – still belongs over on the main ARIN site – www.arin.net.
There’s a lot going on in the Internet industry, including one of the biggest challenges the Internet has ever faced – the depletion of IPv4 addresses.
Why should you listen to us? Because we’re not selling you anything and never will.
As a nonprofit corporation, ARIN pursues no commercial agenda, positioning ARIN to act as a neutral third party source of information on this topic. All content on this site represents the result of ARIN’s commitment to providing the most carefully verified factual information and well-balanced advice on subjects like IPv6 adoption and IPv4 depletion.
